What Cordboard collects, why it’s collected, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, submitted by you. We use it to email you about early access and for nothing else. The waitlist endpoint also keeps a short-lived salted hash derived from your IP address for rate limiting; hashes expire with their time window and are purged automatically, and your IP address itself is never written to our database.
- Page analytics: cookieless page-view counts via Vercel Web Analytics. No cookies are set and no identifier follows you across sites. Vercel derives a pseudonymous visitor hash that expires within 24 hours and records coarse geolocation and referrer with each page view; query strings are stripped before anything is recorded.
- Dashboard accounts: if you create an account, sign-in is handled by Clerk, which sets the strictly necessary session cookies that keep you signed in; we store the servers you configure.
Who processes it
Three processors, each doing one job: Vercel hosts this site and provides the page analytics, Neon stores the waitlist and application database, and Clerk handles dashboard sign-in. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or run any advertising or cross-site trackers.
Retention and deletion
We delete your waitlist email at the earlier of 90 days after your early-access invite goes out or twelve months after signup — and sooner if you ask. Every email we send comes from an address you can reply to: reply with a removal request and your address is removed and deleted within 30 days.
